ليندا وينزل فتاة ذات ١٦ عاما هربت من المانيا قبل عام و تم القبض عليها مع مجموعة من مجندات داعش البعض منهن يرتدين احزمة ناسفة في مدينة الموصل داخل احد الخنادق في المدينة. سافرت ليندا من فرانكفورت الى تركيا و من هناك الى سوريا و انضمت الى صفوف داعش اعتقدت الشرطة انها وقعت في حب شاب عربي مسلم و قام بأستدراجها لترك المانيا لتكون بجانبه .
ومن بين اللواتي تم القبض عليهن مع ليندا نساء من تركيا و الشيشان و روسيا و كندا وذلك ضمن عمليات التطهير الاخيرة في الموصل .
وقالت صحيفة "دي فيلت" نقلا عن مصادر امنية الفتاة الاسيره هي بالتأكيد تلميذة مفقودة من المانيا منذ عام و التي اعتقدت الشرطة الالمانية بأنها هربت لتكون بجانب حبيبها العربي في سوريا.
هربت ليندا من المانيا ، مستخدمة بيانات والدتها لتحجز تذكرة الى اسطنبول وذكر اصدقاءها بأنها بصورة مفاجيء قررت تعلم اللغة العربية و اخذت تجلب القرآن معها الى المدرسة و بدأت بأرتداء ملابس محتشمة كل ذلك قبل اختفائها . وقبل هروبها اخبرت والدتها بأنها ستقوم بزيارة لاحد الاصدقاء و زورت رسالة تفويض من والدتها الى البنك لسحب الاموال . ثم استخدمت التفويض المصرفي المزور وأوراق هوية والدتها المزورة لشراء تذكرة إلى اسطنبول. وعندما ادركت والدتها اختفاء ابنتها كانت ليندا قد وصلت الى تركيا.

Linda Wenzel, A 16-year-old girl escaped from Germany a year ago and was arrested along with a group of female soldiers, some of whom were wearing explosive belts in the city of Mosul, inside a trench in the city. Linda traveled from Frankfurt to Turkey and from there to Syria and joined the ranks of ISIS. The police thought she fell in love with a young Arab Muslim and lured her to leave Germany to be with him.
Among the women arrested with Linda are women from Turkey, Chechnya, Russia and Canada as part of the recent purges in Mosul.
The newspaper De Velt, quoting security sources, said the girl was definitely a missing pupil from Germany a year ago and that German police thought she had fled to be with her Arab lover in Syria.
Linda escaped from Germany, using her mother's information to book a ticket to Istanbul and told her friends that she suddenly decided to learn Arabic and took the Koran with her to school and began wearing decent clothes all before she disappeared. Before her escape, she told her mother she would visit a friend and forged a letter of authorization from her mother to the bank to withdraw money. She then used fake bank authorization and fake mother's identity papers to buy a ticket to Istanbul. When her mother realized her daughter's disappearance, Linda had arrived in Turkey.
