What is the truth about the statements attributed to the leader of the Azem coalition Khamis Al-Khanjar and the Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad Al-Halboosi, and threats from both sides reached talking about their wives?
Many pages on social media platforms circulated the following news: "Urgent... al-Halboosi responds to Khamis Al-Khanjar
Your wife is pregnant with an Afghan man, don't talk about patriotism.
al-Khanjar responds to al-Halboosi, he has a scandalous video of his wife with Saad Al-Bazzaz, who she was working in the al-Sharqiya channel, it became really huge between them".
The truth:
After checking and research, it was found that these allegations were not true, as neither the leader of the Azem alliance Khamis al-Khanjar and the Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad al-Halboosi, made such statements, nor did any news agency or website published any news on behalf any of those concerned regarding this matter.
In a meeting between the Speaker of Parliament and the leader of the Alliance Progress (Taqadom) Mohammad Al-Halboosi, he made strong-worded statements to the leader of the Azem alliance, Khamis al-Khanjar, regarding his promises to return the displaced of Jurf al-Sakhar, which he did not keep it, while many described it as an electoral promise.
al-Halboosi said during his hosting of the "Al-Hassim" program, which was broadcasted on Al Rasheed TV on July 18, 2021, which stated, "months ago, I was talked to about Jurf al-Sakhar and there were good intentions to solve this humanitarian file, but I ran into an obstacle".
The Speaker of Parliament indicated that "some people are trying to move away from the humanitarian aspect related to the Jurf al-Sakhar areas and their residents and go to the electoral side, and I did not wish that the electoral file would be exploited because there was bloodshed". Click here.
