Was the Player, Ayman Hussein, Injured in a Car Accident on the Baghdad-Kirkuk Road?
Two pictures circulated on social media platforms along with the following news: "A violent traffic accident on the Baghdad-Kirkuk road leads to the death of a person and the injury of the national team's star, Ayman Hussein."
The Truth:
The circulated news is fake because the player of the Iraqi national team (Ayman Hussein) is in Qatar, where he just finished his match with his Qatari club Al-Markhiya and scored an equalizer for it against Al-Ahly club. The player also recently denied the news by sharing a story on his official Instagram account.
The two photos attached to the news are old, have been posted previously, and are from different events:
-The first picture is of Ayman Hussein undergoing a surgical intervention on his face in April 2021 at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, which was a successful operation at the time.
-As for the second photo, previously circulated in 2020 of a car accident that occurred in the city of Mosul.
