What is the truth about the video that shows money being thrown from the plane?
A video clip was circulated on social media platforms captioned: “It will fall in the skies of Iraq next week.”
The truth:
The claim is fabricated, as the video clip circulating dates back to an event organized by a social media influencer from the Czech Republic named (Kamil Bartoszek), known by his pseudonym (Kazma). He threw a million dollars from a helicopter onto a large gathering of people on October 25, 2023, and not as was claimed, and the clip was circulated in a false form.
Kazma shared a video clip dated October 13, 2023, behind the scenes of preparation for this event, showing the filling of bundles of dollars into bags and lifting them by helicopter to distribute them to the public.
The organization of this event comes after Kazma promised his followers on social media platforms to reward them for those who participated in one of the competitions that he had previously organized through his accounts.
It should be noted that the Tiktok account in the name of (the Iraqi Ministry of Defense), which shared the video, is fake and not affiliated with the Ministry of Defense.
