Anti-Gaza accounts posted a photo accompanied by a sarcastic text stating: "Despite being killed by the Israeli army, a Gaza resident rises from his grave to answer his mobile phone."
The Truth
The circulated post is fabricated. The attached photo actually shows a Halloween costume contest for children in Thailand in 2022, not staged scenes from events in Gaza as claimed.
The photo features a child named Fei, dressed in a shroud and a large cardboard box made to look like a coffin. Her mother shared several photos of her and her sister dressed as ghosts on her Facebook account.
We previously clarified the truth about this photo in 2023 after it was circulated with the same false caption.
It is worth noting that since the ongoing Israeli bombardment began on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached approximately 37,232, and the number of injured has reached 85,067.
