Beware of fake links claiming to grant free credits
Circulating on social media is a link claiming to offer free credit from local telecommunications companies (Asiacell, Zain Iraq, Korek, Itisaluna).
The truth:
The circulated news is not true, as none of the local telecommunications companies in Iraq have announced "granting 100 GB of free internet credit." Checking the official websites of the telecom companies (Asiacell, Zain Iraq, Korek, Itisaluna) confirmed that no such announcement exists.
Additionally, upon examining the attached link, it was found to be malicious, containing malware and used for phishing by collecting information from those who access it and fill in personal data.
Therefore, the Tech for Peace team warns against interacting with links from unknown and unofficial sources, as most of them aim to harm the user.
