A document was circulated on social media, showing the Permanent Committee for General Examinations at the Ministry of Education setting the dates for the second round exams for both final and non-final grades.

The truth

The document is fake. The Ministry of Education has not announced the dates for the second round exams for the current academic year through any of its official accounts or spokesperson.

Additionally, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, (Kareem Al-Sayed), denied the authenticity of the circulated document after we contacted him, confirming that it is forged and not true.

This Saturday, June 29, 2024, the Ministry of Education decided to allow sixth grade and third intermediate students who failed in three subjects to take the second round exams.
