What is the truth of the video that shows a woman killing her husband in Basrah during doing his work?
A video was circulated on social media, claiming that it shows a woman killing her husband in Basrah and videotaping the killing.
The Truth
The attached claim is FALSE. The video is unrelated to Basrah governorate, south of Iraq.
According to Brazilian news websites, that posted the news on Friday, June 28, 2024, the circulated video is showing the execution of a man named (Lucas) by a person who got of a bike with another person, before they ran away after killing Lucas while working in a building site in Manaus, the capital of the vast state of Amazonas in northwestern Brazil.
According to the information received by the police, the victim Lucas, AKA "Olhão" was with another man also working in the building site. According to the witness; when Lucas was working, two men arrived on a bike, and shot him with many bullets. The victim's fellow survived and was not hurt.
