Did Sheikh Khaled Al-Mulla call for the marriage of four women to implement Sharia?
A piece of news was shared on social media platforms which read as follows: "Sheikh Khaled Al-Mulla: I call men to marry four women to implement Sharia law on earth."
The truth:
By searching to verify the attached statement, we did not find any source to prove the correctness of the statement made by the head of the Iraqi Scholars Group, Sheikh (Khaled Al-Mulla), with such a statement, whether through his official accounts or in his meetings with local media, including Al-Sharqiya channel, which was referred to in the fake news. The page that shared the news is fake and impersonating (Al Sharqiya TV).
Note that we previously clarified the truth of this statement through our accounts on social networking sites last year on October 4, 2021.
On September 27, 2021, the media office of Sheikh Al-Mulla stated, through a post on the official page of Mulla, that he was not responsible for any statement attributed to him, whether religious or political, if it was not published on his official pages.
