What Is The Truth about The Statement Attributed To The Politician Faiq al-Sheikh Ali Regarding Setting A Battlefield In the Najaf Desert And Starting A Duel Between The Coordination Framework And The Sadrist Movement?
A piece of news circulated on social media platforms: “Faiq Al-Sheikh: Let us measure out a piece of land in the desert of Najaf in the form of a battlefield, and bring in the coordination framework and the movement to fight, and whoever wins can rule the country, we also should set up cameras and mics to transmit images and audio for the people to watch on a live broadcast so that the civilians are not at risk of getting hurt in the battle".
The Truth:
The circulated news is incorrect, and the former MP (Faiq Al-Sheikh Ali) did not make a similar statement recently through his official account on Twitter or through local news sites and channels.
It is noteworthy that we have previously clarified many of the false statements attributed to the politician (Faiq Al-Sheikh), in addition to the fake accounts that impersonate him and post false statements in his name.
