What is the truth about the video circulating as showing the downing of Israeli planes by Hamas?
A video clip circulated on social media platforms captioned: “Hms seized more than 20 Israeli warplanes.”
The truth:
The video circulating is unreal, as the clip is about a video game called (Arma3), which is a war simulation game. The clip was previously published on a Facebook page called (BELAL The Gamer) on August 7, 2023.
The owner of the page shares many video clips of the video games he plays, whether they are battles with tanks or planes.
Note that many of the clips created by the simulation have previously been circulated as realistic footage, and our team worked to fact-check them and show their reality.
It is noteworthy that the Lebanese Hezbollah had announced the downing of an Israeli drone with a surface-to-air missile in southern Lebanon.
