Beware of malicious links that were published on the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers page after it was hacked.

The official Facebook page of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers was hacked, as posts were published in English, far from the activities of the Secretariat and its affiliated institutions.

Among these posts is what was published today, Sunday, March 17, 2024, and claims that the trust’s page has been verified with a blue verification mark via an artificial intelligence tool, with a link stating that the tool can be downloaded for anyone who wants to verify his page.

However, when the link was checked using the “Verify the Link” service through our application available on the App Store and Google Play platforms under the name (Tech 4 Peace), it was found that the link is malicious and being used for phishing by obtaining personal information, in addition to containing malicious software.

Therefore, the Tech 4 Peace team warns against opening the link referred to above or redirecting it and not dealing with any other links that are published without verifying them.
