Does The Video Belong To An Iranian Journalist Shaving Her Head Because of The Saudi National Team's Win Over Its Argentine Counterpart?
A video circulated on social media claimed that it shows an Iranian journalist who shaved her entire head because the Saudi national team's won over its Argentine counterpart since she is a fan of the latter.
The Truth
The news attached to the video is incorrect, and the video was previously posted at the beginning of October 2022 through a TikTok account, that is, before the start of the Qatar World Cup on Sunday, November 20, and the events of the video are quite different and it is of a woman by shaving her head hair in solidarity to condemn the killing of the Iranian girl (Mahsa Amini), along with other Iranian women and girls who cut their hair and burned their Hijabs on camera.
Note that the video contains hashtags, including (Free Iran, mahsaamini) and other mottoes condemning the Iranian government's policy.
In other words, the post is misleading and has nothing to do with the Saudi national team's win in the World Cup matches currently being held in Qatar.
