What is the truth about the video clip circulating as being of Israeli soldiers being targeted with a launcher?
A video clip circulated on social media platforms as showing the moment a grenade launcher bombed Israeli soldiers.
The truth:
The circulating post is fabricated, as the video is old and dates back to 2016 in the city of Aleppo, Syria. It was shared by a channel at the time under the name (Fastakam Gathering as You Ordered) with the title “Watch two groups of Assad forces being targeted with guided missiles in Ramousah, Aleppo.”
That is, the clip is old and was filmed in Syria, not Palestine, as claimed.
What is the Fastaqim gathering as you ordered?
It is one of the groups opposed to the Bashar al-Assad regime. It was active during the Syrian civil war, consisting of nine units in the Aleppo Governorate.
In 2015, it formed with other opposition factions what was known as the “Fatah Aleppo Operations Room” with the aim of controlling the city of Aleppo and its countryside and expelling the Syrian regime forces from it.
