What is the truth about the news of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Kubaisi’s death?
A piece of news circulated on social media platforms that “Sheikh Ahmed Al-Kubaisi has passed away.”
The truth:
The circulating news is fake and has no truth, as Sheikh (Ahmed Al-Kubaisi) is still alive, and there is no source confirming the circulating claim. The sheikh also appeared on October 18, 2023, via a video clip published on his YouTube channel, denying the news of his death, saying:
"I am fine and well."
The researcher in legal and social issues (Omar Nihad) also denied the news of Al-Kubaisi’s death through his Facebook account on October 27, 2023, stating:
"There is no truth to all the rumors about the death of Sheikh Ahmed Al Kubaisi."
This is not the first time that fake news has been circulated about Al-Kubaisi’s death, as we previously denied the news of his death in May 2023.
