What Is The Truth of The Picture Circulating Showing Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani with the Iranian religious authority Khamenei?
A photo circulated on social media platforms and attached with the following text: "Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, the coordination framework nominee for the position of prime minister, pays homage to the Iranian religious authority, Ali Khamenei."
The Truth:
The circulated image is modified, where the head of (Mohammed Shia') was placed on the head of the original owner of the photo, which belongs to the deputy head of the political office of Hamas (Saleh al-Arouri), taken during a meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ali Khamenei) with a group in the Iranian capital, Tehran in 2019.
The circulation of these fake posts comes after the coordination framework announced the selection of (Mohammed Shia) as a nominee for prime minister, on Monday 25 July 2022.
Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani
An Iraqi politician, born in Maysan Governorate in 1970, he is the Secretary General of the Euphrates Movement.
He held several positions, including (Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in 2014, Acting Minister of Trade in 2015, Acting Minister of Industry in 2016, and managing positions in other ministries).
