Did Paolo Savona tweet, "I was so convinced of sanctions against Russia until I stopped by at a gas station."
Several pages on social media platforms circulated a photo of the former Italian minister and economist, "Paolo Savona," along with a tweet to a Twitter account in the name of "Paolo SavonaRola," translated to, "I was so convinced of sanctions against Russia until I stopped by at a gas station."
The truth:
The Twitter account "Paolo SavonaRola" that posted the circulated tweet is satirical (as the phrase "Parodia" appears in his biography) and does not belong to the former Italian minister (Paolo Savona) as claimed.

Also, by searching for the tweet's text circulating in the official (Paolo Savona) accounts on Facebook and Twitter, we did not find evidence that he had made a similar statement.
