A piece of news circulated on social media platforms regarding the transfer of the Argentine player (Lionel Messi) to Al Hilal SFC Saudi Football Club.
The clarification:
The circulated news is incorrect, and neither Al Hilal Saudi Club nor the player (Messi) announced a transfer deal between them.
What happened was that (90MIN) newspaper published a news report that included Messi announcing that he would not be returning to (Paris Saint-Germain) and that he would leave for Saudi Arabia and will sign a contract with Al-Hilal Saudi Club, but the news published by the newspaper was fake, and it mentioned at the end of the article, “Happy Holy Innocents' Day ” it is a tradition in Spain when newspapers and media sites publish fake news as a joke, and it is similar to the international "April Fools" day.
Also, the picture attached to the news is edited, where the original picture shows (Messi) wearing the shirt of (Paris Saint-Germain).
Messi is currently on vacation after winning the 2022 World Cup and posted a picture on his account while watching his team's match against (Strasbourg), which ended in favor of Paris Saint-Germain with two goals to one.
